PCCs, new ways of working and Happy Christmas

We’ve written quite a few blogs about PCCs and their new office, and how they have a great opportunity to bring in new ways of working.

Well, three of the new PCCs have opened up their working lives to scrutiny by the media, as they are going to be shadowed by journalists from BBC radio as they go about their daily business.

BBC Radio Five Live is working with Dorset PCC Martyn Underhill, Sussex PCC Katy Bourne and Bedfordshire PCC Olly Martins to take part in the programme – one of which has already been broadcast.

You can hear a recording of the first interview, here, where the trio discussed how they are settling into their new roles, and their priorities in office.

It’s brilliant to see that they are so keen to be open and communicative about their work… and this is a great way of letting the public know about the work they will be doing.

We already work closely with the office of Sussex PCC Katy Bourne, so we know how keen they are to implement new ways of working, so hopefully Katy will get the chance to illustrate her forward thinking.

And speaking of forward thinking, the next year promises to be a very exciting one for Alliantist and pam, with many new and exciting developments – so watch this space.

And that leaves just one more task – here at Alliantist, we wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

We won't share your details with anyone else.
