ROCU shines with pam and outlines vision for Urban Street Gang interventions

Paul Richardson, outgoing Head of ROCU, the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit has made such great progress with pam in a short period of time he will be taking it with him in his new role as Head of Gun Crime across Merseyside.  Paul shared his thoughts on what pam has already enabled his organisation to achieve, and then forecast the future. He felt the platform would build on the work in Salford and Greater Manchester Police (where it is already being used for troubled families, guns, gangs, organised crime and knife crime) into addressing the growing challenges around Urban Street Gangs (USG).  Watch the short video here.

DCI Janet Hudson, leading the ROCU engagement with alliantist, also commented “We were looking for a way to bring multi agency working and project management within the NW Region into the 21st Century, to ensure our processes were driven, managed effectively within predefined time scales and consistent. pam has provided the platform for this to be built and the alliantist team have supported us tirelessly and patiently throughout this process. We are now looking to develop pam further for our own personal needs.”
