We’re delighted to announce that The Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland (DLNR) CRC are the first customer to adopt our ISO 27001: 2013 solution.
Derbyshire Probation Trust were users of pam before the introduction of CRCs, but since DLNR was formed its work on the platform has been growing at a rate of knots. They’re a great example of a CRC that is embracing the future through innovation and we’re proud to know that pam is part of that. DLNR has seen such growth and value in recent months from its adoption of the platform that they are the first to go live with our new ISO 27001: 2013 solution.
For those that aren’t aware of ISO 27001 and its relevance in the future of CRCs, you may find Mark’s recent blog post a useful introduction. In a nutshell, ISO 27001: 2013 is the information security accreditation that all CRC organisations need to achieve. The pam people have built a solution based on our own ISO 27001 success to make it easier, at lower cost and risk, for CRCs to attain.

Richard Angrave, Assistant Chief Executive of DLNR CRC is the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO). He decided to use the platform to enable achievement of ISO 27001. Richard ran his information governance meeting last Friday using the new capability which will streamline work across what was three trusts prior to the CRC – this includes our new Tracks feature which will join up security incident management. There are over 130 activities that need to be delivered and demonstrated for the satisfaction of auditors. With pam the DLNR team can now manage these in an environment that’s already been built for them by the pam people – and we’re no strangers to ISO accreditation ourselves. In addition to operating a comprehensive ISO framework, DLNR has access to the ISO 27001 solution which includes among other things our new and specially adapted tools designed specifically to meet the needs of ISO accreditation.
Embracing the platform
Since the creation of the new CRC organisation in June 2014, DLNR CRC have increased the number of users on the platform from their organisation by 500%, and this number continues to increase.
As everyone in probation knows, the last few months have been uncertain for many. But DLNR has utilised pam to make work much easier across the large geography including integration of the three organisations. The CRC is using pam for multiple initiatives outlined on our blueprint. Richard also remarked that:
