Exemplary police force collaboration receives think tank praise

The achievements of the Strategic Alliance to date are significant and should be trumpeted as a model that others could follow

A recent report published by The Police Foundation has commended the increased efficiency of the Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police Alliance (WWMPA), stating in the first few pages: “The achievements of the Strategic Alliance to date are significant and should be trumpeted as a model that others could follow”.

The Alliance formally started to operate in November 2011, which is when WWMPA first started using pam. It’s gone from strength to strength since its conception and we’re delighted that pam has played a part in the success of such an innovative policing model. The Police Foundation aren’t the only independent organisation that have picked up on the WWMPA’s success; back in July, they were also praised in a HMIC report.

We’ve got some exciting news to come in relation to the WWMPA so watch this space to find out more about their journey with pam very soon.
