Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire Community Rehabilitation Company expands its use of pam to excel in information security

pam has been a huge driver in helping us move forward with all the change that probation has been through.

John Wiseman, Chief Executive

Another Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) has taken the decision to proactively begin the work to gain their ISO 27001:2013 accreditation. Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire (BGSW) CRC has extended its use of pam, the powerful cloud-based platform, to help them gain the information security accreditation. By using the paperless system they will be in a position to gain the accreditation quickly and efficiently.

Along with a number of other forward-thinking CRCs, BGSW has taken the steps to begin the lengthy process (there are over 130 activities to deliver) to gain the accreditation which is a legal requirement for all CRCs. Alliantist, the company behind pam, successfully gained the accreditation themselves using their very own platform and so are in a unique position to be able to help BGSW use the dedicated pam solution to gain the accreditation.

Probation trusts have been through huge amounts of change in recent times and the merging of three of the most innovative and high achieving probation trusts in the country into one new rehabilitation company is a huge opportunity. BGSW will be using pam to not only help them gain the accreditation but to help them build on their knowledge and experience to continue the journey to evolve into a strong and effective CRC to reduce reoffending, rehabilitate people and to help them lead more positive lives.

John Wiseman

John Wiseman, Chief Executive of BGSW CRC, has been a user of pam for seven years: “pam has been a huge driver in helping us move forward with all the change that probation has been through. We hope that expanding our use of pam to help us gain our ISO 27001 accreditation will put us on the front foot when our new owners take over next year. This will demonstrate our commitment to information security and increase confidence in the work we do and the way we do it. I am also confident that pam will help us to continue to improve our processes, built on our shared experience as well as become a highly digitally-aware organisation.”
