pam Administrators, an introduction

What makes a great pam Admin?

Being a pam Administrator isn't a full time job and with the help of the pam Academy, it's unlikely to take up much of your time at all. You will be the port of call for people within your organisation when they need help or want to add new users, or other general pam administration.

Great pam Administrators champion the platform within their organisation and ensure that it's being used to achieve the purpose and goals that were set out during adoption. We can help you with that too.

pam Admin permissions

As a pam Administrator, you have the power to do some things on the platform that normal users don't:

  • create new users and deactivate them when required
  • edit profiles of other users within your organisation or partner organisations
  • edit and administer your organisation profile
  • run usage reports and ensure the platform is being used as intended

Help Guides

pam Administrators act as the first point of call or the "go-to" individual when people in their organisation need help with pam. This doesn't mean that you'll need to know everything about the platform, but it's a good idea to familiarise yourself with the work that your organisation is doing so that you can be on hand should anyone have a question. By all means refer them to the pam help area and this Academy too.

Support from the pam people

If support or technical queries go beyond the extent of your knowledge, we're always on hand to help. You can use the contact details at the bottom of this page to escalate any queries that you're unsure of to us.
