Handy browser tips

  • CTRL + T = new tab (tabs allow you to open another page without losing the one you are on. You can also right click on a link you wish to open and click ‘Open in new tab’ and the page will open in a new tab.)
  • You can use the “back” button to get to the last screen you visited.
  • CTRL + F is the “find” function in every browser. As all text on pam is searchable, use this function to find the text, person or document you’re looking for wherever you are in pam.
  • If you are accessing a drop down list, start typing the word you’re looking for, and it will take you to that place in the list.
  • Press the F5 key to refresh the page. This re-loads the page with the most up-to-date information.
  • Other handy shortcut keys: CTRL + X = Cut, CTRL + V = Paste, CTRL + C = Copy, CTRL + Z = Undo, CTRL + D = Bookmark Page.
